Vegetable Fried Rice
Ingredients
- basumathi or raw rice-1 cup
- white pepper powder-1 tsp
- green chilles-2
- dalchini powder-1 tsp
- corriander powder-1 tsp
- soya sauce-2 tsps
- salt-to taste
- oil-3 tblsp
vegetables
- onion-1
- carrots-2
- beans-1 cup
- capsicum-1
- peas-1/2 cup
- cauliflower-1/2 cup
- cabbage-1/4 cup
Method
- cut all the vegetables (like for palya)
- wash and make rice by adding 2 cups of water
- allow to cool
- heat oil in a kadai add onion , green chille and other vegetables fry for a while
- sprinkle very little water and close the lid
- when vegetables are soft add pepper powder,dalchini, dhania powder,salt
- mix well and add soya sauce.
- add rice
- mix everything on low flame, till rice becomes hot
- serve hot
