Vegetable Fried Rice

Ingredients

  1. basumathi or raw rice-1 cup
  2. white pepper powder-1 tsp
  3. green chilles-2
  4. dalchini powder-1 tsp
  5. corriander powder-1 tsp
  6. soya sauce-2 tsps
  7. salt-to taste
  8. oil-3 tblsp

vegetables

  1. onion-1
  2. carrots-2
  3. beans-1 cup
  4. capsicum-1
  5. peas-1/2 cup
  6. cauliflower-1/2 cup
  7. cabbage-1/4 cup

Method

  1. cut all the vegetables (like for palya)
  2. wash and make rice by adding 2 cups of water
  3. allow to cool
  4. heat oil in a kadai add onion , green chille and other vegetables fry for a while
  5. sprinkle very little water and close the lid
  6. when vegetables are soft add pepper powder,dalchini, dhania powder,salt
  7. mix well and add soya sauce.
  8. add rice
  9. mix everything on low flame, till rice becomes hot
  10. serve hot
