Vegetable Fried Rice
Ingredients
- basumathi or raw rice or jeera rice-1/2 kg
- white pepper powder-1 tsp
- green chilles-2
- ginger garlic paste-4 tsp
- soya sauce-2 tsps
- ajinomotto-1 tsp
- vinegar-1 tblsp
- salt-to taste
- oil-1/2 cup
vegetables
- onion-2
- carrots-2
- beans-1 /2cup
- capsicum-2
- peas-1/2 cup
- cauliflower-1/2 cup
- cabbage-1/2 cup
- spring onions-1/2 cup
Method
- cut all the vegetables to small cubes (like for palya)
- wash and make rice by keeping lots of water and drain,spread on a plate
- allow to cool
- heat oil in a kadai add onion , ginger garlic paste,green chille and other vegetables fry for a while
- sprinkle very little water and close the lid
- when vegetables are soft add pepper powder,,salt
- mix well and add soya sauce.vinegar
- add rice
- mix everything on high flame, till rice becomes hot ,lastly add spring onions
- serve hot
