Vegetable Cutlet


  1. aloo-4 to 5
  2. onions-2
  3. carrot-1/4 cup
  4. beans-1/4 cup
  5. green peas-1/4 cup
  6. cabbage-1/4 cup
  7. capsicum-1/4 cup
  8. red chilli powder-2 tsp
  9. garam masala powder-1 tsp
  10. salt to taste
  11. bread or rusk powder-1 cup
  12. corn flour or maida-2 tblsp
  13. oil-for frying


  1. cut all the vegetables finely
  2. pressure cook aloo,and steam all other vegetables
  3. peel skin from aloo,and mash it
  4. mix aloo with other vegetables mash slightly
  5. mix salt ,red chilli,garam masala powders
  6. mix maida or corn flour with little water and make into paste
  7. make medium sized balls from vegetables,flatten them,dip it in maida paste,and roll on bread or rusk powder
  8. heat a tava and arrange few cutlets on it
  9. pour oil around and fry till brown on both sides
  10. serve hot with ketchup
