Vegetable Bhath
ingredients
- rice-1 cup
- vegetables-capsicum,carrot,beans,alu,gori kayi,menthya soppu,,avare kallu(boiled),green peas(boiled)etc-3 to 4 cups
- oil-2 tblsps
- bhath pudi-2 tblsp
- salt to taste
- lemon-1 to2
- kobbari powder-3 tblsp
- curry leavss-few
- sugar-2 tsp
seasonings
- mustard seeds(sasivae)-1 tsp
- jeera-1 tsp
- kadale belle-1 tblsp
- uddina belle-1 tblsp
- turmeric powder-1 tsp
method
- cook rice,and let it cool( spread on broad bowl)
- heat oil in a kadai,add the seasonings one by one,fry
- add all the vegetables,curry leaves , fry for a while, close with the lid
- add sugar,also.
- when vegetables are cooked add bhath powder,kobbari powder,salt fry ,add lemon juice fry for a while
- add cooked rice mix well
