Semae Akki Uppittu
ingredients
seamae akki(sago)-1 cup
- onions-3 (finely cut)
- water-1 1/4cup
- lemon-1
- green chilles-5 to 6
- salt-2 tsp
- sugar-1 tsp
coconut grated-1/2 cup
seasoning
#oil 2 to 3 tsp
- sasivae-1 tsp
- kadale belle-1 tblsp
- uddina belle-1 tblsp
- curry leaves-few
- turmeric powder-1 pinch
method
- soaksemae akki overnight in water
- heat oil in a kadai,add the seasonings
- then add onions,chilles,curry leaves
- then add soaked semae akki along with water
- keep stirring as its sticks to kadai,
- when its soft(cooked)add salt,coconut,lemon juice,corriander leaves
- serve hot
