Sakkare Achhu


  1. sugar-1 cup
  2. milk-1/2 cup
  3. water-4 tblsp
  4. lemon juice-8 drops(optional)


  1. add milk to sugar and keep for 1 hour
  2. then add water and keep on fire.
  3. while it is boiling remove the dirt.strain through a muslin cloth.again add lemon juice ,milk and water and boil .strain it again,do like this 2 to 3 times.
  4. take a little syrup in a stain less steel vessel,and keep on stirring,till it becomes white "rice ganji".
  5. take out from fire,stirr for some time,pour on "sakkare achhu mane"very fast.after 10 minutes remove from" achhu" slowly and carefully.


  1. soak "achhina mane "in water on the previous day itself.
  2. then grease the "mane"with ghee while pouring the syrup
