Ravae Oondae


  1. chirroti rava-1 cup
  2. powdered sugar-1 cup
  3. kobbari finely grated-1/2 cup
  4. drakshi-1 tblsp
  5. godambi-1 tblsp
  6. kesari-1 pinch
  7. lavanga-1 tsp
  8. pure ghee-3 to 4 tblsps
  9. ellakki powder-1 tsp
  10. milk-1/4 cup or as per requirement


  1. fry (roast)rava in a kadai adding a little ghee,without discolouring the rava
  2. fry drakshi,godambi, lavanga in ghee
  3. mix rava,sugar,kobbari,kesari,lavanga,drakshi,godambi,ellakki powder,ghee,mix altogether well
  4. sprinkle milk and mix
  5. leave for 2 to 3 minutes
  6. make small balls using greased hands
