Ravae Burfi


  1. fresh grated coconut-1 cup
  2. chirroti ravae-1/2 cup
  3. pure ghee-1/2 cup
  4. milk-1/4 cup
  5. powdered cashewnuts-1/2 cup
  6. sugar-1 1/2 cup
  7. kesari-1 pinch

ellakki-powder-1 tsp


  1. mix all the ingredients except ellakki powder,
  2. cook in a heavy kadai stirring constantly till it becomes like a ball(leaves the sides of the kadai)
  3. add ellakki powder in the last stirring
  4. pour on a greased tray and cut into pieces when it is still warm.
