Puri Oggarane


  1. kadale puri-2 litres
  2. hurigadale-1/4 cup
  3. fried and dehusked kadale kayi bija-1/4 cup
  4. kobbari grated-1/4 gituku
  5. curry leaves-1 handfull

for oggarane

  1. refined oil-1 laddle
  2. sasivae-1 tsp
  3. salt-1 1/2 tsp
  4. red chilli powder-1 tsp
  5. turmeric powder-1 1/4 tsp
  6. hing-1/2 tsp
  7. red chilli-2 to 3


  1. clean the puri heat oil in a kadai add sasivae,hing,red chilli powder,salt,turmeric powder,curry leaves,kadale kayi bija,huri gadale ,mix well for 2 minutes
  2. add puri mix well for few minutes ,add kobbari pieces
  3. cool and store in an air tight container
