Pista Ice Cream
Ingredients
- milk-1/2 litre
- powdered sugar-1 cup
- fresh cream-500 gms
- pista(chopped)-2 tblsp
- gelatin-1 tsp
- pista essence-1 tsp
- green colour-1 pinch
- maida -3 tsp
Method
- add maida to milk,cook on slow heat ,adding sugar ,stirring all the time to make sure no lumps form
- when mixture is thick remove and cool
- beat the cream ,add to the cooled milk,beat again
- add gelatin(soaked in water),beat well
- add pista essence,colour,keep in the freezer to set
- when half set ,take out and beat again
- keep back in the freezer ,when half set add pista pieces,keep back in the freezer,freeze till firm
