Pineapple Melba
Ingredients
- milk-2 cups
- condensed milk-1/2 can
- powdered sugar-1 tblsp
- pineapple pieces-1/2 (small can)
- pineapple jam-1 1/2 tblsp
- pineapple essence-1/2 tsp
Method
- mix together milk,sugar,condensed milk,1 1/2 rings of pineapple,and essence ,beat well
- keep it in the freezer to set.
- when half set take out and again beat and keep it back in the freezer to set firm
- now cut the left rings of pineapple into small pieces
- add 2 tsps of water to the pineapple jam and warm up slowly until it melts
- To serve put a scoop of the ice cream in each bowl and cover with pineapple pieces,and a little syrup.put 1 tsp of the prepared jam sauce on top
Note
for the softer ice cream add 1 egg white beated till creamy
