Palakrice
Ingredients
- rice-1 cup
- palak-2 bundles
- green chilles-3 -slit it
- onoin-2 -cut into small pieces
- peas-1/2 cup( cooked)
- tomatoes-3 finely cut
- fresh grated coconut-2 tblsp
- red chilles-7
- dhania(coriander seeds)-2 tsp
- godambi-2 tblsp
- oil-3 tblsp
- bay leaf-1
- dalchini-1 inch piece
- lavanga-2
- salt
method
- cook rice in a pressure cooker, cool it by spreading on a bowl.
- in a kadai heat 1 tsp of oil, fry palak .for few minutes.
- fry red chilles,corriander seeds in little oil in a oggarane spoon
- grind it with coconut godambi,cooked palak
- heat oil in a kadai add bay leaf,dalchini,lavanga fry for a min
- add green chilles onion and tomatoes fry for few mins
- add ground masala and fry well till good smell comes
- mix rice and salt ,add peas also.
- fry in high flame till rice becomes hot
- add fried godambi serve with raitha
