ONE TYPE
ingredients
- maida-2 cups
- warm milk-1/4 cup
- curd-2 tblsp
- sugar-1 tsp
- salt -1 tsp
- cooking soda-1 tsp
- butter or oil-4 tsps
- finely cut corriander leaves
- white til-3 tblsps
method
- mix maida,sugar,salt,soda oil in a bowl
- add curd,milk ,mix well into a soft dough
- keep closed for 4 to 5 hrs
- make even sized balls
- roll into a thick circle
- sprinkle finely cut corriander leaves,sprinkle til over the roti
- fry on a hot tava ,on both sides serve hot.
SECOND TYPE
Ingredients
- maida-2cups
- dry yeast-1 tsp
- sugar-1 tsp
- oil-1 tblsp
Method
- prepare yeast and keep aside to rise for 10 to 20 minutes.
- take maida,add oil,salt,yeast make a stiff dough.
- keep aside under wet cloth to rise for 3 to 4 hours in winter or rainy season and in summer for 1 hour.
- prepare naan.
NOTE
- melt ghee with 2 tsp kalonji(onion seeds).apply on hot naan.
Yeast preparation
- take 2 tblsp warm water,add 1 tsp sugar,add 1 tsp yeast and 1 or 2 tblsp maida.keep for 10 minutes.keep closed for 10 minutes with a lid.
