ONE TYPE

ingredients

  1. maida-2 cups
  2. warm milk-1/4 cup
  3. curd-2 tblsp
  4. sugar-1 tsp
  5. salt -1 tsp
  6. cooking soda-1 tsp
  7. butter or oil-4 tsps
  8. finely cut corriander leaves
  9. white til-3 tblsps

method

  1. mix maida,sugar,salt,soda oil in a bowl
  2. add curd,milk ,mix well into a soft dough
  3. keep closed for 4 to 5 hrs
  1. make even sized balls
  2. roll into a thick circle
  3. sprinkle finely cut corriander leaves,sprinkle til over the roti
  4. fry on a hot tava ,on both sides serve hot.

SECOND TYPE

Ingredients

  1. maida-2cups
  2. dry yeast-1 tsp
  3. sugar-1 tsp
  4. oil-1 tblsp

Method

  1. prepare yeast and keep aside to rise for 10 to 20 minutes.
  2. take maida,add oil,salt,yeast make a stiff dough.
  3. keep aside under wet cloth to rise for 3 to 4 hours in winter or rainy season and in summer for 1 hour.
  4. prepare naan.

NOTE

  1. melt ghee with 2 tsp kalonji(onion seeds).apply on hot naan.

Yeast preparation

  1. take 2 tblsp warm water,add 1 tsp sugar,add 1 tsp yeast and 1 or 2 tblsp maida.keep for 10 minutes.keep closed for 10 minutes with a lid.
