1. rice powder-1 cup
  2. kadale hittu(besan)-2 cup
  3. hurigadale hittu-1/2 cup
  4. om kallu(seeds)-1/2 tsp
  5. salt-1 1/2 tsp
  6. red chilli powder-1 tsp
  7. cooking soda-1 pinch
  8. dalda-or hot oil(2 tblsp)-lemon size

oil- for frying


  1. mix all the ingredients well in a broad basin,add water ,knead to a soft dough
  2. put in a "muchhore press" deep fry in hot oil till crisp
  3. cool and store



  1. raw rice-1 cup
  2. moong dhal(hesaru belle)-1/4 cup
  3. dry roast yeldhara-1/2 tsp

mill all together.

  1. add 1 tblsp ghee, to the above powder
  2. also add salt,hing,add water ,knead to a tight dough,
  3. put into the 3 star mould and deep fry in hot oil till golden in colour.
