Mavina Kayi Uppinakayi


  1. mavina kayi (raw green mangoes)holu(pieces)-4 cups
  2. salt-2 cups
  3. red chilli powder-1/2 cup
  4. turmeric powder-2 tsp
  5. hing-1/2 tsp
  6. fried sasivae and menthya powder-1 tsp


  1. wash the mavina kayi ,spread on a cloth to remove excess moisture,cut into small pieces
  2. mix all the powders with mavina kayi pieces.
  3. store in a glass bottle.
  4. whenever using give sasivae hing oggarane with oil.


same method for "amate kayi","nimbae hannu" uppina kayi.
