ingredients
- rice-1 cup
- sour green mango-1
- green chilles-8
- menthya seeds-1 tblsps
- grated fresh coconut-2 tblsp
- oil-2 tblsp
- turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- salt to taste
- sugar-2 tsp
- curry leaves-few
seasoning
- sasivae(mustard seeds)-1 tsp
- jeera-1/2 tsp
- kadalle belle-1 tblsp
- uddina belle-1 tblsp
- asafoteida-1/4 tsp
- ground nuts-2 to 3 tblsp
method
scrape the outer skin from mango and grate it.
- fry menthya seeds and chiiles till brown
- add coconut,grated mango,grind together in a mixy without adding water ,grind coarsely
- cook rice and cool in a basin
- heat oil in a kadai,add the seasonings,curry leaves,fry till done
- add ground mix ,turmeric powder ,salt ,sugar fry till oil seaparetes
- pour over rice ,mix well
