Masala Puri


  1. boiled peas-1 cup
  2. finely cut onions-1/2 cup
  3. grated carrot-1/2 cup
  4. finely cut tomatoes-1/2 cup
  5. finely chooped corriander leaves- 1/4 cup
  6. green and sweet chutney-to taste
  7. crushed puri pieces-few
  8. sev-a little

for masala

  1. fresh grated coconut,-1 tblsp
  2. huri gadale-1/2 tblsp
  3. green chilles-3 to 4
  4. gas gase-little
  5. elakki-2
  6. dalchini-1 piece
  7. jai kayi -little
  8. japatre-little
  9. maratta moggu,jeera,black pepper ,corriander seeds-few
  10. pudina leavesgarlic,ginger,-to taste
  11. salt-to taste


  1. grind all the ingredients for masala
  2. heat little oil in a kadai ,add the ground masala ,fry well let it boil ,while boiling add 2 tsp of besan(kadale hittu)

to serve

  1. take boiled peas in a plate,and add a laddle full of boiling masala or to your taste and add both the chutneys,crushed puris,tomatoes,onion,carrot grated,sev ,corriander leaves over that serve immediately
