Mango minty drink

INGREDIENTS

  1. thotha puri mangoes pulp-1 cup(2 mangoes)
  2. sugar-1 cup(200 gms )
  3. fresh mint leaves-a bunch
  4. water-1/2 cup
  5. salt-1/2 tsp
  6. black salt-1/2 tsp
  7. jeera powder-1 tsp
  8. citric acid -a pinch
  9. black pepper powder-1 tsp
  10. green colour-a drop(optional)
  11. potassium-meta-bi-sulphate-a pinch(optional)

METHOD

  1. pressure cook mangoes in water for 3 whistles,cool and squeeze out the pulp.
  2. grind mint leaves along with the pulp to a fine paste.
  3. make sugar syrup (sugar -1 cup and water 1/2 cup)to a one thread consistency ,by adding salt and citric acid
  4. add black salt,pepper powder,jeera powder to the sugar syrup ,cool and filter
  5. add mango ,mint paste,stir well ,add green colour,and pot-meta -bi sulphate(dissolved in 1 tblsp water)
  6. serve with cold water(1:4)
