Mango Juice


  1. mango pulp-1 cup
  2. sugar-1 1/2 cups to 2 cups
  3. water-1 1/4 cups
  4. citric acid-1 1/4 tsp
  5. potassium meta bi sulphite(K.M.S)-1 pinch
  6. mango essence-1/2 tsp
  7. yellow colour-1 pinch


  1. select fully ripe juicy mangoes
  2. peel out th e outer skin and squeeze the juice or put in a mixie(cut into small pieces)
  3. strain and measure the juice.
  4. prepare the sugar syrup by heating sugar,water,citric acid to boiling point.
  5. cool down to room temperature.
  6. mix the mango juice,colour,essence and K.M.S (dissolved in warm
  7. water)
  8. pour into sterlized and dry bottles leaving 1 inch head space.
