Kobbari Mitayi

ingredients

  1. fresh grated coconut-2 cups
  2. sugar-1 1/2 cups
  3. ghee-3 tblsps
  4. ellakki powder-1 tsp
  5. kesari-a pinch

method

  1. mix coconut and sugar and heat it in a heavy bottomed kadai
  2. add rest of the things
  3. keep stirring till it becomes white,frothy and leaves the sides of the kadai
  4. remove from fire and pour over a greased tray.
  5. cut into pieces after 2 minutes when it is still warm.
