ingredients
- rice-1 cup
- grated fresh coconut-1 cup
- pure ghee-2 tblsps
- salt as required
- curry and corriander leaves-few
seasonings
- sasivae(mustard seeds)-1 tsp
- kadale belle-1 tblsp
- uddina belle-1 tblsp
- broken red chilles-4
- finely cut green chilles-3
- cashew nuts-1 tblsp(cut into small pieces)
method
- cook rice in a pressure cooker.allow to cool
- add salt,and a tsp of ghee to that rice and mix it well
- heat ghee in a oggarane spoon or small kadai,add the seasonings,curry leaves,add coconut fry for 2 minutes.
- add to the rice.add corriander leaves mix well
- can serve this rice with raitha
