Jeera rice
Ingredients
- rice-1 cup
- fresh grated coconut-1/2 cup
- black pepper powder-1 tsp
- jeerigae-2 tsp
- ghee-2 tblsp
- curry leaves-few
- peas-1/2 cup
- salt to taste
method
- cook rice in a pressure cooker
- heat ghee in a kadai ,add jeerige ,pepper ,curry leaves fry for 2 mins
- add coconut, boiled peas and salt, fry for a few seconds
- add rice and mix well.
note
can add fried godambi(cashew nut) -fried in ghee
