Gorikai palya
Ingredients
- gori kayi-1/4 kg
- bath powder-2tsp
- sugar-2tsp
- salt- to taste
- fresh grated coconut-2 tblsp
- curry leaves-few
- lemon juice(nimbu rasa)-1 tsp
Seasoning
- oil-1 tblsp
- sasivae-1 tsp
- jeera-1tsp
- kadale belle-1tblsp
- uddina belle-1 tblsp
Method
- boil gori kayi in pressure cooker
- in a bandale(kadai) heat oil add seasonings 1 by 1
- when seasonings are done, add gori kayi,salt, sugar,curry leaves,bath powder, fry for a while
- fry till water evaporates
- add coconnt, nimbu rasa mix well and serve
