Godi Halbhai


  1. godi(wheat)-1 cup
  2. sugar-1 cup
  3. kesari-1 pinch
  4. ghee-1/4 cup
  5. ellakki (cardamom) powder-1 tsp


  1. soak godi overnight
  2. next day grind it extract the milk,grind 3 to 4 times till you extract milk completly
  3. in thick bottomed kadai take the milk,add sugar ,kesari, cook on medium flame
  4. keep on stirring,
  5. when it becomes little thick,add ghee add ellakki powder stirr it till you get the consistency
  6. spread on a greased plate leave it till it becomes cold
  7. cut into cubes
