Godambi Burfi


  1. godambi (cashew nuts)powdered-1 cup
  2. fresh grated coconut-1 cup
  3. sugar-1 3/4 cup
  4. ghee-1 1/2 cup
  5. kesari-1 pinch
  6. ellakki powder-1 tsp


  1. mix all the ingredients together in a heavy bottomed kadai and place on the fire
  2. stir till it leaves the sides of the kadai(ball consistency is reached)
  3. remove from fire and pour on a greased tray
  4. cut after few minutes when it is still warm
