Ginnu

ingredients

  1. same day cow ginnu milk-for 1/2 litre.milk add 1/2 cup of plain milk
  2. if its buffallo milk-for 1/2 litre milk add 1/4 litre plain milk
  3. jagerry powdered-2 cup or to the taste
  4. ellakki powder-1/4 tsp

method

  1. mix ginnu milk along with plain (boiled and cooled )milk
  2. mix jagerry with little water and boil (just the jagerry is dissolved).strain it with a tea stainer
  3. mix milk ,jagerry, ellakki powder and pour to a vessel
  4. steam in a pressure cooker like "idlis" for 7 to 8 minutes
  1. remove from cooker ,and keep for 5 minutes
  1. can eat hot or after cooling it.
