Ginnu
ingredients
- same day cow ginnu milk-for 1/2 litre.milk add 1/2 cup of plain milk
- if its buffallo milk-for 1/2 litre milk add 1/4 litre plain milk
- jagerry powdered-2 cup or to the taste
- ellakki powder-1/4 tsp
method
- mix ginnu milk along with plain (boiled and cooled )milk
- mix jagerry with little water and boil (just the jagerry is dissolved).strain it with a tea stainer
- mix milk ,jagerry, ellakki powder and pour to a vessel
- steam in a pressure cooker like "idlis" for 7 to 8 minutes
- remove from cooker ,and keep for 5 minutes
- can eat hot or after cooling it.
