Ganji Anna
ingredients
- rice-2 cups
- water-6 cups
- curd-1/2 cup
- fresh grated coconut-2 tblsp
- green chilles-2
- jeera-1 tblsp
- ginger-1tblsp( grated)
- sasivae-1 tsp
- black pepper powder-1 tsp
- curry leaves-few
- corriander leaves-few
- ghee-1 tblsp
method
- cook rice adding 6 cups of water in a pressure cooker ,rice should be very soft
- in a kadai ,heat ghee,add sasivae,jeera,when it stops spluttering add green chilles,pepper powder,ginger.
- now add curry and corriander leaves,coconut mix with rice
- then finally add curd ,boil on low flame, can add little water if necessary.
- anna (rice )should be watery.
