Dry chole
INGREDIENTS
- kabuli channa-1/4 kg {soaked overnight)
- onion-3
- fresh ginger -1 tblsp shredded
- anardhana-1 tblsp
- red chilli powder-1 or 2 tsp
- jeera powder-1 tsp
- chat masala power-1 tblsp
- amchur powder or lemon juice-1 tsp
- black salt-1/2 tsp
- MDH kitchen king powder-1 tblsp
- salt-to taste
- lemon juice
- green chillies-4
- cooking oil-1/4 cup
METHOD
- soak channa overnight and pressure cook ,adding 1 tsp salt and a pinch of soda
- drain water.
- shred onion length wise and deep fry in oil till crisp.
- shred ginger also and deep fry in oil till crisp.
- fry anardhana and powder it.
- Take oil in a kadai,add green chilies,add all the masalas,and rest of the above ingredients to boiled channa,fry well and seve hot
- finally add lemon juice and sprinkle fresh corriander leaves
