China Grass Halwa
ingredients
- china grass pieces-1 cup
- water-3 cups
- sugar-1 cup
- ellakki (cardamom )powder-1/2 tsp
- ghee-1 tblsp
- drakshi(raisins)-1 tblsp
- godambi(cashew nut)-1 tblsp
method
soak china grass in a boiled water(1 cup) for 1/2 an hour
- boil water in a thick bottomed kadai add china grass
- boil for 10 to 15 mins add sugar,ellakki powder,boil
- add drakshi,godambi fried in ghee
- when done spread on a greased plate
- let it cool
- cut into cubes
