DRY CHOLE

INGREDIENTS

  1. kabuli channa-1/4 kg {soaked overnight)
  2. onion-3
  3. fresh ginger -1 tblsp shredded
  4. anardhana-1 tblsp
  5. red chilli powder-1 or 2 tsp
  6. jeera powder-1 tsp
  7. chat masala power-1 tblsp
  8. amchur powder or lemon juice-1 tsp
  9. black salt-1/2 tsp
  10. MDH kitchen king powder-1 tblsp
  11. salt-to taste
  12. lemon juice
  13. green chillies-4
  14. cooking oil-1/4 cup

METHOD

  1. soak channa overnight and pressure cook ,adding 1 tsp salt and a pinch of soda
  2. drain water.
  3. shred onion length wise and deep fry in oil till crisp.
  4. shred ginger also and deep fry in oil till crisp.
  5. fry anardhana and powder it.
  1. Take oil in a kadai,add green chilies,add all the masalas,and rest of the above ingredients to boiled channa,fry well and seve hot
  2. finally add lemon juice and sprinkle fresh corriander leaves
