Carrot Halwa


  1. carrot grated -1 cup
  2. milk-3 cups
  3. sugar-1/2 cup
  4. ghee-1/2 cup
  5. kesari-1 pinch
  6. ellakki(cardamom)powder-1 tsp
  7. drakshi(raisins)-1 tsp
  8. godambi(cashew nut)-1 tsp


khova-1 cup


  1. in a kadai heat ghee fry carrot for a while
  2. add milk boil till soft
  3. add sugar kesari ,khova,keep stirring on low flame
  4. when you get halwa consistency add fried drakshi,godambi,fried in ghee
  5. add ellakki powder
