cabbage balls in hot garlic sauce
INGREDIENTS
- shreaded cabbage-1 cup
- corn flour-2 tblsp
- baking powder or cooking soda-1/2 tsp(donot increase soda while preparing more)
- salt -to taste
- bread crumbs-1 or 2 tblsp or as required.
METHOD
- mix all the above ingredients well,make round or oblong balls and deep fry on hot oil,till golden brown in colour.
- serve with hot garlic sauce.
HOT GARLIC CHILLI SAUCE
- garlic chilli paste-2 tblsp
- soya sauce-1 tblsp
- vinegar-1 tblsp
- tomato sauce-1 tblsp
- water-1/2 cup
- corn flour-1 tblsp
- oil-2 tblsp
- salt- to taste
- onion-1 (small)-finely chopped
- tandoori colour(optional)-a pinch
- garlic-2 bulbs(whole)-finely chopped or 2 tblsp finely chopped
- sugar-1 tsp
- green chillies-4
- tomato puree-1/2 cup(3 tomatoes -chop and blend ina mixy and strain it)
METHOD
- heat 2 tblsp oil ,add garlic,green chillies paste,onion,fry for a while.
- add sauces,tomato puree,sugar,water,tandoori colour,cook for 5 minutes.
- dissolve 1 tblsp of corn flour in 1/2 cup of water,add to the above gravy
- cook till thick.
