Besan Oondae
ingredients
- kadale hittu(besan)-1 cup
- powdered sugar-1 cup
- pure ghee-1/4 cup
- ellakki powder-1/4 tsp
- broken godambi and drakshi-1 tblsp
- kesari-a pinch
method
- fry godambi and drakshi in a tsp of ghee in a kadai and keep aside
- in the same kadai fry kadale hittu in low flame with rest of the ghee till good aroma comes from that.
- then remove from fire,mix with it with powdered sugar,ellakki powder,kesari,drakshi and godambi,.form small lemon sized balls(oondae)
note
if needed can sprinkle milk while forming oondae
