Bendae Kayi Gojju
ingredients
- bendae kayi(bindi)-1/4 kg
- tamarind-lemon size soaked
- jagerry-lemon size
- curry leaves-few
- arishina-1 tsp
- oil-2 tblsp
- sasivae-1 tsp
- jeera-1 tsp
ingredients for powder
- kadale belle-2 tblsp
- uddina belle-1 tblsp
- jeerigae-2 tsp
- menthya seeds-1 tsp
- corriander seeds-1 tsp
- red chilles-5 to 6
- pepper corns-4 to5
- yellu(til)-2 tsp
- hing-a small grannule
- fry all these things adding a tsp of oil powder it in a mixy
- grind this powder with coconut
method
- wash bendae kayi cut into round pieces
- heat oil in kadai,add sasivae ,jeera,curry leaves
- add bendae kayi pieces,fry for a while,add tamarind juice,so that it won't become sticky
- after its soft add ground paste ,salt ,boil well till you get gojju consistency
