Baigan Burta
ingredients
- black brinjal(badane kayi)-1 big(roast in microwave applying oil /roast over direct gas flame applying oil)
- onions-3
- tomatoes-3
- jeera-1 tsp
- green chilles-4to 5
- red chilli powder-1/2 to 1 tsp
- ginger garlic paste -1 tblsp
- garam masala powder-1 tsp
- oil -2 tblsp
- salt to taste
- corriander leaves-1 tblsp
- fresh cream or ghee-2 tblsp
method
- heat oil in a kadai add jeera,onion(2),green chilles,ginger garlic paste, fry well
- smash baigan add to above
- fry well
- then add red chilli powder,garam masala powder, salt, tomatoes
- fry for 10 mins or till oil comes out.
- add corriander leaves
- add cream and 1 onion(or spring onion) chopped ,mix well and serve.
- no water is added in this recipe.
