Badam Keasar Burfi
ingredients
- kadale hittu(besan)-1 cup
- fresh grated coconut-1 cup
- maida-1/2 cup
- badam-godambi powder-1 cup
- sugar-2 cup
- ghee-1 cup
- kesari-1 tsp
- milk-1/2 cup
- ellakki powder(cardamom)-1 tsp
method
- heat 2 tblsps of ghee in a heavy kadai add maida and besan fry constantly till good smell comes,
- remove from fire and transfer that on to a plate .
- add together milk,sugar,water in the same heavy bottomed kadai,cook till one string consistency is reached.
- add maida and besan mixture and coconut,badam-godambi powder,ghee ,kesar.
- keep on stirring till the mixture becomes thick,add ellakki powder
- stirr till the mixture is done (reaches the ball stage)
- pour on a greased tray or plate
- allow to cool for a while and cut into pieces when the mixture is still warm
