Ingredients
- avarekalu -1cup
- coconut-1/2 cup
- uppitu rava or rice rava-1cup
- oil-3to4 tblsp
Seasoning
- 1tsp-sasivae
- 1tsp-jeerigae
- 1tblsp-kadalae belle,uddina belle
- curry leaves-few
- green chiilies-4 to 5
- lemon juice-2 tblsp
- pepper powder-1 tsp
Method
- boil avarekalu in pressure cooker.
- fry rava in a medium flame till it turns slightly brown.
- in a kadai heat oil add sasive,jeerigae,kadale belle, uddina belle,green chilles,pepper powder,curry leaves.
- Sim gas and add 3 to 4 cups of water, salt & sugar to taste.
- add boiled avarekalu.let it boil then add rava
- close the lid let it be in slow flame.
- after rava is cooked add lemon juice ,coconut.
- can add corriander leaves.
Note:
- if its rice rava you need 4to 41/2 cups of water.
- if boiled avare kalu water is there then you need less water.
