Avallaki Ambodae
ingredints
- thin paper avallakki-1 cup
- finely chopped onions-1/2 cup
- finely cut green chilles -6 to 7
- turmeric powder-a little
- hing-a pinch
- curry and corriander leaves -few(finely chopped)
- ginger grated-1/2 tsp
- salt to taste
- rice powder-just enough to hold (if needed)
oil-enough to deep fry
method
- wash avallaki,and drain water completly with hands
- mix with all other ingredients to form a stiff dough
- make lemon sized balls,flatten on a greased plastic sheet and deep fry in hot oil till crisp and brown.remove on a colander
- 8 to 10 ambodaes can be fried at a time
