Avalakkibisibelebath
Ingredients
- hesaru belle-1 cup
- avalakki-2 to 3 cups
- huli pudi or bisibelle bath pudi-1 tblsp
- vegetables-carrot,beans,peas,onion ,cabbage.
- tomato-1
- kadale kayi bija-1 tblsp
- tamarind paste-1 tsp
- kobbari-2 tblsp
- haldi-1/2 tsp
seasonings
- oil- 2 tblsp
- sasivae- 1 tsp
- jeera-1tsp
- hing- 1/2 tsp
- curry leaves-few
- red chilles-2
Method
- boil hesaru belle adding little water and a pinch of haldi in pressure cooker
- boil vegetables also in cooker in a separate container
- in a kadai heat oil add seasoning one by one,when its stop spluttering, add boiled belle,add vegetables mix well
- add huli pudi ,tamarind paste mix well
- and also add kobbari ,salt , sugar-mix well
- finally add avalakki ,just mix it for 2 mins turn off the gas(stove)
note
no need to soak avalakki in water
