Annada Kesari Bhath


  1. rice-1 cup
  2. sugar-11/2 cup
  3. milk-1 cup
  4. water-2 cup
  5. ghee-1/4 cup
  6. kesari-1 pinch
  7. lavanga-2
  8. drakshi(raisins)-1 tblsp
  9. godambi(cashew nut)-1 tblsp
  10. ellaki (cardamom )powder-1 pinch


  1. wash rice ,add milk and water make rice in pressure cooker
  2. in a kadai heat ghee add lavanga add rice ,sugar.stiirr till sugar gets obsorbed,till you get kesari bhath consistency add kesari also.
  3. add drakshi and godambi fried in ghee,add ellakki powder
