american chop suey
INGREDIENTS
- noodles-300gms
- green gram sprouts-1/2 cup
- mixed vegetables shredded-1 cup(spring onions,beans,carrot,cabbage,capsicum,)
- tomato puree-1 1/2 cup
- seasoning cubes(maggie) small-2
- tomato sauce-1/4cup
- garlic paste-1/2 tsp
- ginger paste-1/2 tsp
- green chillies-1/2 tsp
- soya sauce-1 tblsp
- vinegar-2 tblsp
- oil-2 tblsp
- sugar-1/2 tsp
- ajinomotto-1/2 tsp
- white pepper powder-1 tsp
- shredded onions-1/2 cup
- butter-2 tblsp
- tandoori colour-a pinch(optional)
- cornflour-1 tblsp
- red or green chilli sauce-1 tblsp
PART-A -METHOD
- boil noodles in lots of water,drain off water,cool it,and deep fry in oil
- while frying gather noodles with 2 laddles and fry.should not fry to red colour
- in 1 cup of water add seasoning cubes boil and keep
- mix tomato sauce,tomato puree,vinegar,soya sauce,in a cup( no 2 ingredients)
- in a pan take butter,add corn flour,fry
- take out add sugar,maggie stock,keep it on stove and cook for 5 minutes.
- add no 2 ingredients,cook till thick.
- add salt(3/4 tsp),pepper,ajinomoto take out.
PART-B-METHOD
- in a kadai,heat 2 tblsp oil,add onions ,fry for 2 minutes
- add ginger ,garlic,green chiili paste
- add vegetables,bean sprouts,spring onions,salt(1/2 tsp),white pepper,ajinimotto,little chilli sauce,cook till water dries
- pour this to PART-A sauce
- cook till it reaches to thick consistency
- on a plate,keep crushed fried noodles,on it pour a big serving spoon of above sauce and serve immediately.
