1. kadale belle-1 cup
  2. green 9 to10 or red chilles-15 to 20
  3. salt -to taste
  4. fresh coconut grated-1/2 cup
  5. ginger-a small piece
  6. onions-1/2 cup{optional)-finely chopped
  7. curry and corriander leaves-few
  8. hing-1 pinch


  1. soak kadale belle for 2 to 3 hours
  2. strain water completly
  3. grind belle,chilles,salt,hing together without adding water coarsely
  4. to the above mixture,add finely cut onions,curry ,corriander,coconut,ginger ,mix well
  5. make into small lemon sized balls, flatten like ambodae fry in hot oil till brown


can add finely cut soppusigae soppu,cabbage,mint leaves,drumstick leaves.
