Akki Kayi Payasa


  1. rice-2 handfull (soak for 1/2 hr)
  2. coconut-2 cups
  3. ellaki(cardamom)-2
  4. bella(jagerry)-1 cup
  5. kesari-a pinch


  1. grind rice to a fine paste
  2. add coconut grind again to a smooth paste
  3. in a kadai heat bella adding water
  4. add ground paste ,kesari add some more water boil
  5. keep on stirring so that no lumps will form
  6. add ellakki powder


can add godambi and drakshi fried in ghee
