Akki Kadale Belle Payasa


  1. rice-1 handfull
  2. kadale belle(channa dhal)-1/2 cup
  3. kobbari(dry coconut)-1/2 cup
  4. ghus ghusae(khus-khus)-1 tsp
  5. bella(jaggery)-1 cup
  6. milk-1/2 cup
  7. kesari-1 pinch
  8. lavanga-2
  9. ellakki powder-1 pinch
  10. ghee-1 tblsp
  11. drakshi,(raisins)-1 tblsp
  12. godambi(cashew nut)-1tblsp


  1. boil rice,and kadale belle in separate containers in pressure cooker
  2. fry khus khus lightly
  3. grind khus khus and kobbari( by adding 1 tsp of raw rice to grind easily)
  4. in a kadai take boiled belle ,akki, add khus khus paste
  5. add bella ,milk..kesari,lavanga,boil well
  6. add ellakki powder,drakshi ,cashew fried in ghee
