7 Cup Burfi
ingredients
- kadale hittu(besan)-1 cup
- fresh grated coconut-1 cup
- pure ghee-1 cup
- milk-1 cup
- powdered badam,godami(cashew nuts)-1 cup
- sugar-2 cup
- kesari-1 tsp
ellakki powder-1 tsp
method
- mix all the ingredients except ellakki powder in a heavy kadai.
- add ellakki powder at the end of the proces
- keep stirring ,till it leaves the sides of the kadai(soft ball consistency is reached)
- remove from fire,and pour over a greased tray or plate.
- cut into pieces after two minutes when it is still warm
